Hi! Thanks for visiting my page and checking out my work. In my conversations with clients my goal is always to get a deep understanding of the artwork they want created. Here I want to give you a deep understanding of who I am.

I have always had a passion for creating functional art. Since I was a child, I have pursued painting and creating as a hobby with vigor. It was during my 12 year professional career in finance that this hobby became the seed idea for a full-time business. While on maternity leave in the spring of 2014 with my daughter Harley, I knew it would be a special project to decorate a toy chest for her. What I thought was going to be a fun project, actually turned out to be my inspiration for following my dreams. As much as I loved the challenge of the financial world, it paled in comparison to the passion I felt when creating designs for people who are special to me. With the rave reviews from friends and family, I knew I was on to something special.

Since starting Blooming Designs By Marisa, I have made it my mission to create functional and practical art for people who have the most fun with it – kids! I love the challenge of receiving requests for new products, designs, color schemes and anything else that will make your piece of art special to you. Along with my team of artists, a builders, a photographer and even a master of deliveries we are here to create something special for you. Check out the work I’ve done in the past and of course, if you want something you don’t see, let me know so I can create something new for you!

As much fun as I have doing what I do, none of it would be possible without the support of my amazing family. My husband Richie and I have two kids - our daughter Harley, who is one of my best helpers, and our son Jordan. With the addition of our new puppy Nash (named for Nashville because all we do is listen to country music), our crew is complete.
